Do I need a website address or "Domain Name" before I sign up?
You can either purchase and use your own domain name or you can use one of the many great domain names we already have. We use a special algorithm to buy domain names for your market that are proven to generate more traffic. Please contact Service@MegaAgentWebsites.com to discuss using one of our domain names or visit GoDaddy.com for purchasing your own domain name.
How soon can I start expecting leads?
This will depend heavily on a few factors. How many listings are in your market? If you chose a very large market area with 5,000 listings, leads may start faster than if you have a smaller site with only 60-100 listings. If you do not market or promote your site when you first get it you may not have leads come in for the first few months as the site grows. Think of this system as an investment in your business and it will snowball in size over time.
Can I do anything to make my website start generating leads faster?
YES!!! After your site is setup and running go to Twitter.com and create a free account if you don't already have one. After creating your account go to the top of the page where it says "What's happening?" and type your entire web address as follows... "http://www.YOURDOMAINNAME.com" ...and hit the "Tweet" button to post that message. Even if no one is following you on Twitter this will work. It is a GREAT first step. hint: you can also do this on Google+
What if I want to target more than one area?
The only way to target more than one area is by using our zip code site format. If you choose to focus on more than one geographical area you will still need to determine a single key term for your website. For best results we do not recommend focusing on multiple areas.
Can I add my picture to the site or do anything "custom"?
No, these sites are built so you do not need or have to do anything to them. The only thing we ask is you promote the site as best you can but even that is optional.
What if another agent aleady has one of these sites in my market?
Don't worry, these sites are built to work together in larger markets. Just remember we can never eliminate all of your competition but we can bring it all "in-house". In some cases of smaller listing areas the number of sites are restricted due to the number of leads per month on average.
What if it has been 6 months and I have not gotten any closings?
Please contact us so we can discuss your strategy for marketing the site and also how you are communicating with your internet leads. These sites are priced so even if you go an entire year and only close one deal you still make a profit. If you ever decide to cancel your site just remember there is no contract so you can cancel at any time.
Can I wait until the site is generating leads to receive a bill?
No, as soon as your site is created we are charged a hosting fee. This fee is to store the site, server, images and databases to manage your new web presence. Your billing is started the day we create your site and you are prorated from the day it is created to the first of the month so your first bill will be slightly higher than the monthly fee above based on what day your site is built.
I'm not finding my site on the first page of any search engine for my area?
Getting to the first page of a search engine can take time, be patient. The sites use a special type of internet marketing and search engine optimization to make sure they are found in other ways. Even if you're not on the first page people are still finding you.
How do I know if my site is growing?
This is easy. Go to Google.com and search for this phrase without quotes and using your domain name... "site:yourdomain.com" ...doing this will show you how many pages Google has "indexed" from your site. This means if you have 1,000 pages indexed than you have 1,000 chances of being found. The larger the number of results the larger your site has become.
If I need to make changes to the information on my site what do I do?
All personal information found on your site can be changed by loggin into your backoffice and clicking on "Site Management" then "Site Settings".
I work on a team, can both of our information be put on the site?
Yes, We have many sites that are team based.
After I register for my site is there anything else I have to do?
If you own your domain name then yes, after you register you will get an email with step by step instructions on how to change your domain names DNS servers. This process is very easy and completed daily by your fellow agents. Please read through the entire e-mail and follow the instructions. Your website will not be complete until you have made these changes. If you purchased your domain name from GoDaddy then you will need to login to your GoDaddy account to make the changes.
